Joint CORE/UCD Business School Sustainability Workshop Series - Part 1
Join the UCD Business School Managing for Sustainability program faculty and CORE for the Sustainability Workshop Series, a collection of courses focused on the strategies employed by local small to mid-sized businesses that have succeeded with sustainability.
Participants in this initial 4-course series will be introduced to the concept of sustainable business, the key role that small to mid-sized companies are playing in the global sustainability movement, and how they're doing it. Local sustainable business leaders from a wide variety of industries will also share their lessons learned on successful strategies for sustainable business initiative implementation.
Upon completion of the Part 1 series, participants will emerge with the tools needed to get started on their own sustainable business journeys, and a wealth of ideas on boosting their return on sustainability investment.

City of Denver: Greener Denver Business
Greenprint Denver and The Denver Office of Economic Development (OED) will soon be launching the new Greener Denver Program, a collaborative initiative that supports the Mayor's Climate Action Plan, and will focus on greening four main facets of the local economy: Business, Marketplace, Talent (i.e. Jobs) and Community.
CORE has been chosen by the OED to take a leading role in Greener Denver Business through the creation of a variety of resources for local businesses interested in reducing their carbon footprint, including free educational courses, an online networking community, and support for industry-wide initiatives.
CORE and the OED are joined by a number of local partners in the development of this innovative city-wide program, and are excited to offer direct and simplified access to the wealth of local resources available to business owners interested in "going green."
