On behalf of CORE, Betsy Long runs the GDB educational programs which are designed to support Mayor Hickenlooper's Climate Action Plan by engaging the efforts of smaller businesses in reducing their carbon footprint. Rocky Radar Reports on June 30th CCI Meeting
Rocky Radar has done its usual fine job of covering CORE's monthly Colorado Cleantech Initiative meeting on June 30th. The main presenter was Wes Schrader, who described the newly formed Rocky Mountain CleanTech Open competition, for which CORE is the fiscal sponsor. Hank Held then talked about his new alternative energy company, Mt. Princeton Geothermal and Ed VanDyne closed the meeting with a description of VanDyne Super Turbo. Read full article
CORE Executive Director, Graham Russell, delivers keynote address at inaugural Summit County Sustainabiz Conference: June 22, 2009
CORE is delighted to have been able to support the Summit Independent Business Alliance stage its first Sustainabiz Conference in Frisco on June 22, 2009. The conference attracted 55 people from local businesses and government organizations interested in preserving Summit County's beautiful environment and supporting the entrepreneurial spirit of its local business community. CORE was proud to support the conference by managing the registration process for the event and Graham Russell, Executive Director of CORE, worked closely with Katie Roberts, organizer of Sustainabiz (www.katie-roberts.com), to help promote the event and make it a success.
